HEADstrong Foundation’s 7th Annual Running aHEAD of Cancer 5K and 1 Mile Walk

Join us for our annual race through the streets of Swarthmore in it’s 7th year! In 2024, we had over 550 participants running, walking and volunteering throughout the town! We are so excited to once again offer a hybrid event this year for walkers, runners and HEADstrong Foundation supporters to enjoy the beauty of the town that support our efforts at Nick’s House! Children and strollers are welcome for both the 5K run and 1 mile walk. This is a paved course! Registration tent is located behind the Inn at Swarthmore – 10 S Chester Rd, Swarthmore, PA. Parking is available in the Swarthmore train station SEPTA lot located off of N Chester Rd. 5pm – Registration and Bib pick-up starts 6pm – 5K Run starts, walk starts immediately after the run T-shirts are only guaranteed for anyone who registers by August 22nd!
