Runners will be able to use the church hall lavatories and to stow their gear.  \n3) T-Shirts will be available on race day for participants.  Participants registered after 11/16 will not be guaranteed a shirt! \n4) Awards: We will announce the winners following completion of the race and awards will be given to the winners at that time.  \n\nReturning in 2025: CJF Tiny Trot – a dash taking place immediately before the start of the 5K Run on Wexford Road between Sagamore Road and Brookline Blvd. Open exclusively to a limited number (50) of CJF PS\, PK and K students.  Tiny Trotters will receive a Tiny Trot t-shirt and medal for competing in the event! Tiny Trotters are permitted to participate in the Family Fun Walk with their registered parent/guardian. \nThe race will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the walkers starting immediately after the runners. The 5K run is a two loop course through the Brookline neighborhood which has been the same course as we have used in the past.  Walkers will walk the first section of the course and when they get to Brookline Blvd they will not turn on Alston\, but will walk directly back to Annunciation on the Blvd.  Walkers need to stay to the RIGHT while Runners will stay to the LEFT. \n** “Kick off to Christmas” Post Race Party – Join us after the race for kids crafts\, raffle baskets\, 50/50\, face painting and pictures with Santa! DESCRIPTION:Description\n\n\nJoin us for the 8th annual DEWEY DECIMAL DASH 5K RUN / WALK and support the Haverford Township Free Library!  \nThis fun\, family friendly event is for all ages and fitness levels and brings our community together to support our Library! \nPeople who know Haverford Township know that this is a special place. It is a town where neighbors still know and look out for each other\, where small businesses have thrived for generations\, where residents feel real pride. Our Library\, with 180\,000 patron visits each year\, is a gateway to community connection through social events\, groups and programs that bring people together. Our Library is part of what makes this township an exceptional place to live. \nWith generous support such as yours\, this event has raised almost $100\,000 since 2017\, helping fulfill our Library’s mission of providing excellent resources\, services and programs for all ages. In all\, the Library hosts nearly 1\,000 programs annually with 27\,000 people attending. These range from the literary (author talks\, a graphic novel club\, the writers group) to the wide-ranging (Lego Club\, Science in the Summer\, Concerts in the Park\, the Quilting Group\, and Teen Mindful Yoga). Haverford Township Free Library truly offers something for everyone in our community. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Edgmont Township Fire Company No.1! \n2025 Race Offerings!  \n5K: This multi-surface cross country course rolls through the beautiful Arasapha Farms and The Bates Motel Haunted Hayride. Registration includes a chipped bib for race results timing and a commemorative t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd place overall male and female (Specific award to be determined). Divisional Medals will be awarded to each 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place male and female. What a fantastic NEW race course last year! It will be the same! \n1 Mile: This multi-surface course will primarily run through The Bates Motel Haunted Hayride path\, and loop the top of the property. This course will not go the back of the property through the Christmas tree farm.  Registration includes a commemorative t-shirt. This will be an untimed race but families are welcome to run or walk. \nCostume Rules For All Ages: In order to keep all families safe please do not wear masks. The carrying of swords etc of any kind will not be permitted. Runners must run in closed toed shoes. Spiked running shoes are permitted. Please be mindful of costume length so as to be safe when running. \nMonster Costume Contest! Best dressed Halloween costume contest will be awarded to two individual participants\, one themed group (i.e. Toy Story) and two youth (under age 12) Specific award to be determined! \nPACKET PICK UP: October 23rd @Edgmont Fire Company from 4:30-6:00pm *In order to help reduce lines on race day we enouicrage you to pick up your shirt and bib before. DESCRIPTION:THE 1ST ANNUAL DELCO TEN-MILER\n\nThe Delco 10 Miler is more than just a race — it’s a celebration of community\, connection\, and giving back. From Rose Tree Park (Media\, PA) to Subaru Park\, home stadium of the Philadelphia Union (Chester\, PA) — this unique 10-mile race connects four municipalities and countless neighborhoods\, raising funds for local non-profits and community programs across Delaware County. Lace up and give back! \nPresented by the County of Delaware\, PA and Visit Delco\, the Delco 10 Miler’s mission is to bring residents together in an inspiring\, healthy\, and energizing event that directly supports the local community. Proceeds from the Delco 10 Miler will benefit Delaware County Parks & Recreation\, Delco Arts\, and the HEADstrong Foundation. \nJoin us on the journey from park to pitch as we run for Delco\, through Delco\, with Delco. \nCelebrate your accomplishment at the post-race party at Union Yards\, located at the finish at Subaru Park\, home of the Philadelphia Union. \nRace Logistics: \n\nParking will be available at Subaru Park\, where the race finishes (12 Rainey Street\, Chester\, PA 19013). Shuttle services will be provided to the race’s starting point at Rose Tree Park in Media\, PA (expect road closures). There will not be shuttle service from Subaru Park to Rose Tree Park after the race.\nParticipants should plan to arrive to Subaru Park (12 Rainey Street\, Chester\, PA 19013) by 6:30 a.m. to be shuttled by bus to the race’s start at Rose Tree Park.\nParking only available at the finish at Subaru Park.\nRace begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. RAIN OR SHINE.\n\nCourse Description: \nA race course map will shared soon – stay tuned!  \nThis point-to-point course is all downhill and begins at Rose Tree Park heading southeast on N Providence Rd/Rt 252\, then flows south via Rt 320 through the campus of Widener University. After a few urban turns—E 19th\, Walnut\, and E 14th—the route weaves northeast\, then southwest through Melrose and Morton. \nThe final stretch follows US-13 west\, with turns through Penn\, W 3rd\, Flower\, and Ward before finishing on Reaney St. just outside Subaru Park. The entire course is downhill\, offering a fast\, smooth descent from start to finish. \n\n\n\nImportant Information:\n\n– BIb pick-up information will be shared via email closer to race day. \n– All runners must be able to maintain a 15 minute per mile pace as all course roads will reopen to traffic following this schedule. Runners who fall behind this pace may be asked to move to the sidewalk. At this point\, we cannot guarantee course support\, official timing\, or post race amenities. \n– Registration is non-refundable.\n\n– Plan ample time to get to the race. Parking will be virtually nonexistent in the immediate area around the start. You must park near the race finish at Subaru Park and take the provided shuttle service to the race start. You may be dropped off at the race start at Rose Tree Park\, though road closures are to be expected. Shuttle service will begin as early as 6:30 a.m. with the last shuttle departing by 7:30 a.m. Race will begin at 8:00 a.m.

SUMMARY:The 4th Annual Reagan's Run\, a 5K\, 1 Mile Walk\, and Kids Dash
DESCRIPTION:Description\n\n\nThe 4th Annual Reagan’s Run\, a 5K\, 1 Mile Walk\, and Kids Dash will occur on Sunday\, September 21\, 2025\, at Wilson Farm Park.\nHosted by The Rea of Hope for a Cure Foundation\, inspired by thirteen-year-old Reagan Monast\, the foundation is on a mission to support and connect those affected by epilepsy in Chester\, Delaware\, and Montgomery Counties\, along with the 3.4 million people living with Epilepsy. \nThis 5K\,  1-mile walk and kids dash aims to raise awareness and funds for epilepsy research. Proceeds will go to Rea of Hope AND CURE Epilepsy (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy)\, whose mission is to find a cure for epilepsy by promoting and funding patient-focused research. Reagan’s Run has raised nearly $86\,000 since it began in 2021\, which has gone directly to epilepsy research. \nGet ready for a fun-filled\, family-friendly event! We’ll have a raffle table\, snacks\, and\, most importantly\, lots of smiles! This is a perfect opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones while supporting a great cause.

We depart promptly at 6:45 p.m. so come early! \nSOME ADDED PERKS\n\nOn holidays when the store is closed there is no group run; e.g. Labor Day or Memorial Day.\nJoin us on the 1st Monday of every month for post run pizza and beverages on us.

DESCRIPTION:About The Race \n\nJoin us for our annual race through the streets of Swarthmore in it’s 7th year! In 2024\, we had over 550 participants running\, walking and volunteering throughout the town! We are so excited to once again offer a hybrid event this year for walkers\, runners and HEADstrong Foundation supporters to enjoy the beauty of the town that support our efforts at Nick’s House! Children and strollers are welcome for both the 5K run and 1 mile walk. This is a paved course! Registration tent is located behind the Inn at Swarthmore – 10 S Chester Rd\, Swarthmore\, PA. Parking is available in the Swarthmore train station SEPTA lot located off of N Chester Rd. 5pm – Registration and Bib pick-up starts 6pm – 5K Run starts\, walk starts immediately after the run T-shirts are only guaranteed for anyone who registers by August 22nd!
